About	She died peacefully and went to be with the Lord October 5, 2016 surrounded by family at PeaceHealth RiverBend hospital. She is survived by her 2 sisters Elspeth R. Hoover & Vivian G. Ellsworth, her 5 sons James H. Mickel, Stephen O. Mickel, Samuel A. Mickel, Jeffrey M. Mickel, Scott E. Mickel, 1- grandchildren and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Owen Mickel and life partner Richard Hendricks. Wynona was born to Herschal Doyle & Veda May Ellsworth on December 3, 1943 in Eugene, OR. Wynona graduated Corvallis High School in 1962. She married Arthur Owen Mickel August 13, 1965. Wynona was kind, intelligent, well-liked and always spoke her mind. She had many friends, she enjoyed reading, family get-togethers, cooking and playing card games. (ed. note: She loved Jeopardy & would have been a champion if on the show we're told) a memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, 602 SW Madison Ave, Corvallis, OR, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 4pm.
