About	Gazette Times 05 Febr 1981 Nancy Lee Wallace Fejes, 37, the wife of John A. Fejes of Homer, Alaska, was lost in a boating accident January 25 near Homer. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Gerald R. Wallace. Her father formerly was superintendent of the Corvallis Public School District. Mrs. Fejes was born December 13, 1943 in Boise, ID. She graduated from Corvallis High School in 1962 and then attended Oregon State University. In 1965 she graduated as a dental hygienist from the University of Oregon Dental School in Portland. She practiced in Walnut Creek & Sausalito, California, and in Homer, AK. In 1977 she & her husband moved to Ketchum, Idaho, where he worked on construction projects and she did art, advertising and layouts for the Ketchum Tomorrow newspaper. An artist, she worked with oils, wood, silver, semi-precious stones and etched and stained glass. Her works were exhibited in Ketchum & Boise. The couple moved to Homer, AK in 1979. Her husband, a native of Alaska, worked on the AK pipeline project. She practiced dental hygiene and flew once a week with a dentist to remote areas to provide dental services to persons in isolated communities. She had her own weekly music and talk show over a Homer radio station. She liked to travel & spent time in Europe in 1972, East Africa in 1974 & England in 1976. Survivors are her husband of Homer; her parents of Boise, Idaho, and one brother Richard Wallace of Boise.
