About	June 3, 1944-July 15, 2000 the Rev Dr. Charles E. Shields of Los Angeles, formerly of Corvallis, Oregon, died Saturday in Los Angeles. He was 56. Born to Pauline & Carroll Shields in Iowa, he was raised in Corvallis. He was pastor of Brentwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles from 1981 to 1999. Survivors include his wife, Nadia; daughters, Sarah & Elizabeth; prents; sister, Anna Chase; and a niece & nephew. There is a memorial fund set up at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, CA
