Tom McChesney, age 68, currently of Green Bay, went home to his mother on July 17, 2013 after a brave and valiant fight with leukemia, never having lost hope, thanks to the help of many wonderful caregivers. He was born March 4, 1945 in Cornell, WI to the late Lauren and Alice (Lund) McChesney. He attended UW-LaCrosse and Kansas State University before serving his country as a Navy SEAL. He considered himself fortunate to have worked his twilight years at a company where he truly enjoyed the people he worked with, at Island Resort and Casino. He was a well-respected husband, father, coach, boss, golfer, and a life-long Packer and Brewer fan. His love of life was contagious and positively influenced everyone he ever met. Tom was always concerned about the happiness of those around him. He loved his wife, Rose, and his family deeply. Survivors include his wife of over 20 years, Rose; sons: Matthew, Nathan, Jess (Megan) and Jack; grandchildren: Kiara, Brett, Tessa, Bryce, Chloe, Laura, Drake, Joseph, and Rhiannon; a brother, David (Inez); a sister, Karen (Walt); many nieces, nephews, and other family.
