Clarence 'Buzz' Hoffman, Jr.

Class of 1963

After serving in the Viet Nam War Buzz came home and finished his schooling at UW Eau Claire in Finance; moved to Oregon and finished his Masters in Finance at U of Oregon. Worked for the Gov't. as an Auditor; joined 'Gamers' worldwide competing in flying competition; designed his own 'joystick' for the gaming community which was picked up by NASA for Astronaut Simulators and started his own company - Thrustmaster' - sold products worldwide - company sold for $2M and had plans in place to go back to U of Oregon for his Doctorate just before he died of inherited heart issues. Buzz also has several patents listed at the Gov't. Patent Office.
