About Me	I consider myself an easy-going, low-maintenance person. I try to enjoy the simple things in life. I realize I'll probably never have everything I want, but I have most things I need, and I'm okay with that. Technology is quickly becoming my enemy. I'm growing tired of the nonstop glare of the television, the computer, the cell phone. I often long for a life without the constant headache of technology. I can imagine living in the country somewhere, growing my own food, and living off the land. Life was simpler in "the old days" and people were happier. Then, I snap back to reality and realize that can't happen these days, unless the Zombie Apocalypse occurs in my lifetime and I don't get eaten. Anywho, the moral behind this story is that I don't have to have much to be completely content. Give me shelter and food, and people I love, and you've got a happy person. Speaking of being happy, I married my soul-mate on December 17, 2007. Doug is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm so thankful for him. I love him more than anything, and I hope to never experience a day without him. I try my best to see the bright side of things, even when it's hard! And unfortunately, it can get really hard! Sometimes I fail, but then I remember that life is way too short to spend it being miserable. I try to be thankful for what (and who) I have.
