About Me	Twice Married; once divorced. Married Donna M. Alexander 1962; son, David; granddaughter, Ceili; Divorced 1995; Married Virginia "Ginnie" Corey Stanchfield 1998. Address: 32 Pitts RD, Harrison, ME. Ginnie and I live on the east side of Long Lake. We enjoy our families and friends, kayaking, our Seadoo jet ski, pedal boat and our new-to-us 2016 Tahoe tri-toon acquired this year. We used to enjoy motorcycling. However, I sold my 1990 BMW a couple of years back. I decided I would like to be present when my granddaughter gets married! My hobby biz as a Federal Firearms Licensee keeps me busy. Up until July this year, I was offering self-defense basic firearms course as a certified USSCA instructor. For the most part, passage of LD 652 (so-called "Constitutional Carry") was the death knell of the firearms education business in Maine. More info is available on this site's Military pages, Facebook and LinkedIn.com. To summarize some: for the most part, after high school, I enjoyed my nearly 24 years in the Navy. Made a lot of life time friends; saw a lot of the world, but wish I had spent more time with my family. After the Navy, we returned to Maine, Durham actually, when David began as a junior at Edward Little; Donna began work at L.L. Bean and I the same at John J. McMullen Assoc. (JJMA) in Bath at BIW. For the better part of sixteen years, I really enjoyed my work there. I endured my mid-life crisis the last ten years of my marriage to Donna. We split in Sept. 1994. I left to live at DiMillo's Marina in Portland on my boat, "Mary Free" (named after my great grandmother McEown). I met Ginnie in October 1998 and we clicked. I left Portland soon after; brought the boat up to Long Lake and sold it in 2005 to a fellow from Ketchikan, AK. I started and stopped a couple of businesses thereafter; an auto tracking firm and then a travel business I began the firearms effort in 2014.
