Ellen Elizabeth (Donahue) Cooper

Class of 1964

After graduation, I raised chickens, and I learned meat cutting and dairy milk testing, working at both for about a year. Then in January of 1966, I moved to NY. Using my typing skills, I worked as a typist, and legal secretary for the next two years, until I married my husband, Tom Cooper, in 1968, and we had our first child, Scott in 1969. Three more beautiful children followed, Brian, Renee, & Robyn-Ellen. We raised our beautiful family, with braces, and sports and music lessons

and plays and pets and boating, water & snow skiing, camping, 4-H, and Scouting.
All four children attended college and married and gave us 8 precious grandchildren, ages 15 - 5 years old. In 1988 I began College and worked full time for Cornell Cooperative Extension. It took 7 years, and in 1995 I graduated with a Bachelors
of Science Degree in School Health Education.
I used my degree to teach adults parenting education and life skills. I retired in 2010. My husband, Tom, passed away just before this past Christmas. He was buried May 18th.
It has been an emotionally draining time for our family. I wish everyone from the Class of '64 the best!
