Francis (Frank) Peter Krypel, Jr., 75, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at home in Lake Elmore, Vermont following a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen (Doyle) Krypel; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Craig MacCorquodale of Mont Vernon, NH; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Amy Krypel of Marblehead, MA; grandchildren, Ryan and Scott of NH and Sara and Noah of MA and many close friends. Frank was born and raised in Adams, MA, the son of Francis Krypel and Adella (Wojtusiak) Krypel. He is predeceased by his older brother, Dickey Krypel. After graduating from Adams High School in 1954, he attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he played both varsity basketball and football. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business, he went on to receive a Masters Degree in Education from Boston State University. He met his wife, Kathleen Doyle in Boston and they were married in 1960 in Adams, MA. In 1961, he joined the coaching and teaching staff at Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, MA where he spent most of his tenure as a Vice Principal. Frank and Kathy resided in Concord for over 30 years and eventually moved to their beloved second home in Lake Elmore, VT. Frank was elected to the office of Town Lister from 1997 to 2010. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking, gardening and golfing. According to his family, his generosity, patience and kindness were an inspiration. He was a man of uncompromising principles and integrity. A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Lake Elmore United Methodist Church. White-Fiess Funeral Home of Morrisville is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, P.O.
