About	Lee Henry Shaver, 81, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018 at Berkshire Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. He was born in Itta Bena, Mississippi on January 15, 1937 to the late Henry Shaver and Fanny Mae Bankin and spent most of his life as a resident in Springfield, MA. He graduated from the High School of Commerce in 1955 and served his country in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA, receiving an honorable discharge after four years of service. He was employed as a Clerk in the U.S. Postal Service for 27 years, retiring in 2002. Lee enjoyed spending his summers boating and deep sea fishing. When he was home, he loved nature, planting and building bird houses. He will be missed by his children, Lee Shaver, Jr. of Albany, NY, Yvette Malo of Enfield, CT, Rey Shaver of Florida, Sandra Streeter and James Shaver of Springfield, Anthony Banks of Texas, Ricardo Shaver of Brockton, MA and Melanie Shaver Mendez of Florida.
