Born in Jacksonville, Fla. to the late Lorenzo Buchanon, Sr.and Marie (Love) Bankston, of Springfield;Ma. He was predeceased by 2 of his 3 siblings George Buchanon and Ann P. Jordan. He leaves behind to cherish his memories a son Troy Johnson, of Springfield;Ma. Twin grandchildren. His last brother, Lorenzo Buchanon of Springfield, Ma. His 6 nieces and nephews William Buchanon, Deborah (Buchanon) Owens & husband Victor Owens, Terry Jordan, Jerry Jordan Orlando, Fl, Mona Jordan-Reid & husband David Reid and Eric Buchanon all of Springfield;Ma. A host of relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM and funeral Saturday, August 26 at 9:00 AM at Henderson Funeral Home 52 Hancock St Springfield, Ma; 01109. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay Street Springfield, MA 01109. Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of all professional services. We all called him Murf. From a BB playing family. Lorenzo, Chop were his Brothers. We had a lot of fun @ Wm De Berry playground. RIP
