About	Michael Anthony Andrews of Ludlow, MA, peacefully departed this life on August 3rd in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Springfield, MA to Joseph Wendell Andrews and Mary B. (Stockton) Andrews. Michael attended both parochial and public schools in Springfield. He graduated from The High School of Commerce in 1985 and received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Curry College. After becoming a Springfield Police Cadet, Michael joined the Massachusetts State Police in June 1988 and faithfully served the community for 29 years until his passing. Michael was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and had been a member of Boy Scout Troop 35 "The Orange Crush". On June 10th, 2005, he married the love of his life, Kelsey D. Scarpa, and together they had one daughter born in 2008, Madeline (Maddie) Rose Andrews, known affectionately as "Peanut Butter". Michael was a karaoke star and the best Wobbler in Western, MA. He is survived by his loving wife, daughter, parents, a brother, Marlon of Washington, DC, his Massachusetts State Police Brothers & Sisters, and his extended family and many friends. The public and friends will be received by the Family for visitation from 6–8 pm Monday, August 7, at St. John’s Congregational Church, 45 Hancock St. The service of celebration will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. In LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE OR BAYSTATE HOSPICE. Harrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
