About	Mary Martin, 72, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016. She was born in Camilla, Georgia on October 18, 1943 to Esther and the late Austin Keaton. She graduated from the High School of Commerce in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1962. Mary worked at Pratt & Whitney located in East Hartford, Connecticut and retired after 35 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, attending church, and cooking for family and friends. She was a strong, hardworking woman and was well known for her feisty personality. Mary was dedicated to her church, Family Church in Springfield, Massachusetts, serving faithfully as a Church Mother for over 21 years. She was a member of the Women’s Inspirational Network (WIN) Ministries, where she shared her life experiences and wisdom to uplift and encourage women. Mary is survived by her children Angela Barnett of Raleigh, North Carolina; Donald Martin, Jr. of Springfield, Massachusetts; Kyle Martin (Shellee) of Braintree, Massachusetts and Michael Martin (Angelina) of Springfield Massachestts; her grandchildren, Asia Barnett, Anthony Barnett, Kamisha Fountain, Jovann Martin, Jadah Yesufu, Joshua Yesufu, Kyle Martin, Dominique Rivera, and Zeleke Martin; her mother Esther Keaton; her siblings Eloise Lewis (Michael), Constance Keaton, Belinda Hall, Nia Imani, and Andrew Keaton; as well as 5 great grandchildren. Services for Mary will be held at St. John’s Congregational Church, 45 Hancock St., Springfield, Ma on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield, MA.
