About	Geraldine “Gerry” (Giancola) Marafioti, 79, died on Tuesday March 22, 2022 after a long illness, with her family by her side. Gerry leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years Anthony “Tony” B. Marafioti of East Longmeadow, her sons Philip Marafioti and his wife Tracy Saracino of East Longmeadow and Dino Marafioti of east Longmeadow, her two grandchildren Mark and Catylin, her great-granddaughter Addison, her brother Anthony Giancola of CA, her sisters Nicolina Ferullo of Springfield and Katherine Pepper and her husband Michael of Feeding Hills, and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Gerry was born in Springfield MA on December 05, 1942 to the late Liberato and Emelia (Volpetti) Giancola. She graduated from High School of Commerce in 1960, and kept busy working at Forbes & Wallace, Scovill & Wellington, Gralia Construction, Amadeo Restaurant in Holyoke, and Pasquale's Restaurant in East Longmeadow. Gerry soon studied to be a Real Estate Agent, and passed her tests with flying colors. She worked with people, finding their perfect home for many years at Landry, Lyons & White Realtors and Colwell Banker Realtors. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law Robert Ferullo. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 29, 2022 from 4-7pm in Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St., East Longmeadow. Gerry’s funeral will be on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 8:45am in the funeral home. Followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield.
