About	Lynn Self left her earthly tent on January 23, 2021 to be reunited with her daughter Stephanie Self, who died on May 19, 2020 of cardiac arrest (Not COVID-19). Lynn Self was born on November 24, 1954 to parents Augustina Barros and William Day Self Jr. Lynn passed away from an aggressive form of stomach cancer which she battled for seven months. Lynn was predeceased by her father, William Day Self Jr, mother, Augustina (Tina) (Nana) Barros, her brother, Wayne K. Self and her daughter Stephanie Self. Lynn attended Homer Elementary School, Duggan Middle School, and graduated from Commerce High School. She went on to complete a bachelor’s degree at Elms College and a master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts. She worked for ten years at the United States Postal Office and at Fein, Emerson & Applebaum LLC for two years. Lynn was hired at the Drug Enforcement Administration in December 2001 as an Intelligence Research Specialist. In March 2010, she was transferred to the Hartford Resident Office and continued in her role as an Analyst until her passing. Lynn is survived by her brother, Gary Barrows, Sr. her grandson, Damian Jones, her closest nephews and their spouses, Gary Barrows, Jr. (Jennifer), Nathan Scott (Mindy), and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Services to be held on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Henderson's Funeral Home 52 Hancock St. Springfield, MA. Wake walkthrough from 5:00 PM – 7:00PM social distancing and masks required, followed by private services at 7:00 PM. Henderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
