About	Mamie Elizabeth (Earl) Kirby passed away on January 19, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Blue Mountain, MS on November 20, 1943, she relocated to Springfield, MA as a teenager with her family graduating from The High School of Commerce in 1963. She worked as an administrative assistant and, until her passing, as a sales associate for Macy’s, providing superior customer service to every individual she encountered. Mamie loved to travel, spend time with her family and friends and was always willing to help those around her. Predeceased by her mother and stepfather Erion (Earl) and Harold Cleveland and her birthfather Troy Sampson, she leaves to cherish her memory three aunts of Springfield: Novis Edwards, Martha Perry and Billie Joe Spears; cousins Anne Philips of Springfield, Earl (Sharon) Philips of IN, and Torron Philips and Jason Green of Springfield. She will be truly missed by Namarey, Naylone and Jason Green Jr. of Springfield whom she loved and cherished dearly, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. The wake is from 10-11AM January 27, 2020 at New England Funeral and Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA with service at 11AM and interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. www.nefcc.net Published in The Republican on Jan. 24, 2020
