About Mabel(White)Haygood 71, Beloved wife and mother, passed into eternal glory with her loving husband and sons by her side, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at home on the battle field.



Mabel was born on March 19, 1947 to Melissa and Watkin White II in Springfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from the High School of Commerce. She was employed at Diamond Match and Titeflex for over 30+ yrs. as a Technician. She earned a minister’s license in Pastoral and Biblical studies from BCM. She earned a Ph.D. over the course of her life because she was a "Praying Holy Diva”. She was a lady with class, style, and dignity. She was well known for wearing her hats, suits and hi-heels...



Mabel was a devoted Christian since she was a child. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and might. She touched so many lives in a special way. She flourished when she was helping people. She was filled with compassion and had a smile like sunshine. Mabel always said that she has three men in her life: Her husband and two sons(Laugh). She always told everyone about Jesus, love and living holy. God called home a true warrior and missionary, who finished her race...



Mabel was a lifelong and faithful member of the Macedonia C.O.G.I.C. She wore many hats and she served willingly. She was on the Usher Board, Hospitality Board, Sunshine Band Leader, Choir Member, Communion Team, Missionary and Church Mother...



Mabel was predeceased by her parents Watkin White II, Melissa White and sister Margaret E. Sanders. She leaves her beloved husband of 53 yrs. John A. Haygood Sr., her loving sons, John A. Haygood Jr., Robert L. Haygood, daughter-in-laws, Dionne Morgan Haygood, Elizabeth A. Haygood, her sisters, Barbara Nichols, Rose White and Sally Murray, sister-in-law, Candice White, two brothers, Watkins White IV and Charles L. White, brother-in-laws, Maurice Nichols, Roy Sanders and Allen Murray, her grandchildren, John A. Haygood III, Briana Haygood, Aleah Haygood, Bryan Haygood, Brittany L. Morgan, Benjamin A. Skelton and Kamran A. Skelton Edwards, great grandchildren, Ferrell Haygood, Dallas E. Morgan, god son, Eric White and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, loyal friends and Church family to cherish her memory...
