Graduated from basic in 1978 as a combat engineer 12B.
My stateside assignments were in Ft Devens, MA., Ft. Leonard Wood, MO., Ft. Carson, CO., Ft. Benning, GA., and Ft Bragg, NC.
My overseas assignments were in South Korea, West Germany, Italy, Kuwait and Iraq.
My military education included all NCOES through the First Sergeant's course. Addition schools included Basic Airborne School, Jumpmaster School, Ranger School, Air Assault School, Sapper School, Mountain Warfare School, and the Drill Sergeant Academy.
Participated in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort with an additional tour in Iraq.
Retired in 1998 as a First Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division.
