Jacob Easton Fox, 32, of Midland, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at McMullen Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at the Family Residence.
Jacob was born on March 9, 1989, in Fort Ord, California and attended Columbus High School where he enjoyed playing baseball, football, and basketball. After graduating in 2007 he attended Jackson State University on a baseball scholarship. He later played baseball at Chattahoochee Valley Community College and West Georgia University. After college Jacob joined the United States Army and served in South Korea and Fort Benning, Georgia.
Jacob had a passion for baseball and enjoyed coaching youth baseball. He loved the Atlanta Braves, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and anything Louisiana State University. He had a kind, lovable, humorous, and bright soul. Jacob was a shining light that would light up a room.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grand-father Donald Earl Fox.
Jacob leaves behind his loving parents Don and Noelle Fox of Midland, GA, brother Brendan Fox of Midland, GA, sister Alysa Fox (fiancé John Barron) of Columbus, GA, Maternal grandmother Lorraine Campanaro (Tony) of Tampa, FL, Paternal grandmother Polly Fox of Brandon, FL, uncles Doug Fox of Brandon, FL, Joseph Martillo of Tampa, FL, Aunts Courtney (Courtnonnie) Eelman (Tony) of Auburndale, FL, Jennifer Damron (Frank) of Inverness, FL, and cousins Gage Fox, Riley Fox, Hannah Knaak, and Ty Fox.
