| About Me | Went to nursing school/R.N. Met my husband on a blind date, Dec. 6, 1968. Graduated 6/69 Engaged 3/1/69 Married 10/4/69 Bought our 1st 10A. 'farm'/ house in 6/70. Worked full time at Aultman until birth 1st dtr. Jan. 72. Then became stay at home mom for six yrs. Had 2nd dtr 8/76 and son 5/78. In 72 moved to Thornville for husband's co. to 18 A. and a big plantation style house back a 1/4 mile lane with huge trees. We're still here and love it! Went back to work in 79 part time, at a nursing home for 18 years, then 4 years managing a busy 2 Dr. Family Practice Office, prior to having 2 total hip and 1 total knee replacements. I'm now retired collecting S.S. which my husband says is my 'yard saling money' (: He is retired from one job of 33+ yrs. played a couple yrs. then went to work for another co. full time, which he loves, now there 5 yrs. and this yr. down to 4 days/week with benefits, he says b/c I'm high maintenance!
