| About Me | I started working at Columbiana Boiler right after graduation and worked there for 8 years. I did payroll, inventory and other secretarial duties. I met my husband Aug. 1966 on a blind date, which was at Quaker City Drag Strip. We were married Sept. 1968. I worked part time at Village Print Shop in Columbiana for several years. I had my first son, Jason in 1978, and second, Adam in 1981. My husband had his own business (I did all the bookkeeping) so I was lucky enough to stay home to raise our sons. I worked from 2000 til 2007 at Italo's Pizza in Lisbon, which I really enjoyed! I started working at Ventra Salem, LLC in the Press dept. in May of 2007. I worked almost 2 years and was laid off for 8 months, during which time I worked in the kitchen at Tippecanoe Country Club. Then was called back to Ventra in Aug. 2009 in the Paint dept., which is mostly assembly work, putting together vents for various vehicles. It is fun and different. My grandaughter was born in Dec. 2004 and is the LOVE of my life! She keeps me going! In Feb. 2011, I slipped & fell on black ice trying to leave work and broke my hip. I now have 3 screws, which will be "such fun" going through the airport. :) My Mom moved in with us July 2010. She is almost 85 and in very good health.
