About Me	Army Bands - Naval School of Music, Army Element, Washington D.C., Played in formation in front of the Treasury Bldg next to the White House for John F. Kennedy welcoming foreign dignitaries. 21st Army Band, Fort Lewis, Washington. Played 2 times on Plaza of States at Seattle World Fair, Ohio day where retired astronaut John Glenn (later Senator) gave speech, and New York day where Gov. Nelson Rockefeller gave speech. Had "Battle of the Bands" with the Seattle World Fair Band..."and now the Combined Army Bands from Fort Lewis - our 21st army post band, the neighboring 4th Infantry Division Band, and the recalled because of the then Berlin Crisis Wisconsin National Guard Band will perform." Played in formation on parade route when President Kennedy arrived for the Fair.
