Bob was my close friend. His sense of humor made him very popular. He and I placed second in school wide talent contest, him playing his guitar with me playing the bongo drums. The student body audience gave a standing ovation after we delivered a stellar performance of the top music airway hit “Topsy Part 2.” Bested by Roberta France’s dramatic solo rendering of a popular Shakespeare drama, our presentation, however, was applauded with louder applause. Bob and I later performed our act for a night club audience wh enjoyed our musical presentation with rousing applause!???????????? My fun high school memory!????
