Jan died after a short bout with Lung Caner. She was 69. She left behind 1 daughter, Michelle Vickers Adair, 1 step daughter Lisa Dryan-Zagala, and 2 step sons, Steven Vickers, and Michael Vickers. She also had 7 grandchildren, Bryce Koren, Brooke Koren, Isabella Adair, Cecilia Dryan, Sebastian Dryan, Morgan Vickers, and JD Vickers.
