Air Force, 20+ Years
Commissioned as 2nd Lt after graduation from UCF in June 1980. Completed PhD in clinical psychology in 1990. Deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Selected for promotion to Colonel in 2005. Retired from active duty in 2006 and currently serves as a Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and as the Director of the STRONG STAR Multidisciplinary PTSD Research Consortium (www.strongstar.org).
