Y O U A R E I N V I T E D! The Collinsville High School classes of 1970 through 1979 are putting together an all 70’s reunion and you’re invited—whether you actually graduated with a class or were part of a class for a time. The reunion will be Homecoming Weekend, September 24-25, 2010. We’re planning on having a “float†in the Homecoming Parade, but haven’t worked out all of those details. (We may have to meet at someone’s house and make a lot of Kleenex flowers!). Plans are to have classes sit together at the game Friday night, September 24. Individual classes may plan some type of activity before or after the game. Check with your class’ reunion committee. Saturday, September 25, classes may also plan activities for the afternoon, but again, that will be up to individual classes. The big event is Saturday evening, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Radisson Hotel in Tulsa. Address is 10918 East 41st. The Radisson is offering a $79 per night rate if you mention “Those 70s Classes†reunion. For reservations, call: 1-800-395-7046. We’ll have a live band, The Boogie Boys, as well as a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres. Each class is being encouraged to set up a table/area for class memorabilia, memorials, etc. Cost of the reunion is $50 per person; $75 per couple before Sept 1, 2010.* Cost is $60/$85 after that.
