| About Me | My claim to fame is the amazing journey I took in 2017 to save a little 65-pound pit bull named Hank. I had the incredibly good fortune to meet thousands of remarkable people along the way. A Facebook page and fate brought together strangers from all over the world and united us in a cause, not just as a community but as a family. I was able to inspire people with my love, perseverance, tenacity, and tireless fight for justice for a little dog who wagged his tail with a stuffed toy in his mouth. I was told I was an inspiration, but Hank’s Village inspired me with their positive energy and encouragement. Together, Hank’s Warriors, Hank’s Prayer Warriors, and Hank’s Heroes made a conscience effort that above all, we would take the high road, always have hope, never give up, and trust in our faith. Our journey was a resounding success, and Hank not only got to come home as a regular dog, but his record was wiped clean. Hank’s case set a precedent in Lewis County for future dogs that aren’t given a fair hearing and accused falsely with no evidence of wrong doing just because they’re in the wrong place at the wrong time.
