Resident of Antioch, CA
Dreama Howard, of Antioch, California passed away on Tuesday, January 12 following a brief illness at the age of 75.
She attended schools in Napa, California and graduated from College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, California – class of 1963.
Dreama was a passionate human rights activist, always defending the underrepresented and using her voice to protect those that could not defend themselves. Dreama gave freely of herself to the following agencies: The Contra Costa Rape Crisis Center, the AIDS Project of Contra Costa, the Contra Costa Human Rights Commission, the Names Project and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
She was also a past member of the National Association of Women in Construction, serving as the Board Secretary, traveling to conventions across the United States. She spent most of her career in construction work.
Dreama and her husband of 18 hears, Walter Howard, were members of the Diablo Vintage Street Rod association for many years before Walter's death. Dream and Walter owned two street rods, which Walter spent months and years building.
In addition to her many hobbies and interests, she was an avid Oakland Raiders fan for 50+ years.
Dreama is proceeded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Howard, who died on July 6, 1992 and her mother Wanda Jean Olson and her father Donald Edward Lewis.
Dreama is survived by her son, Paul Morse Brown of Rancho Mirage, CA and her stepchildren, Michael Howard, Sharon Constant and Nancy Howard Laffin, and her sister, Alice Berry of Cornelius, Oregon.

Dreama was a popular girl in school. I believe was involved with all the popular school programs in some way.
