I remember Geoff as early as 1971. Met Geoff back in 5th grade. I attended school with Geoff at Strandwood and CPHS. Geoff was one of the happiest, kindest & respectful souls I've ever met. He was genuine and kind to everyone. My ventures lead me away from CPHS & California in general. And I moved back in 1982 only to find everyone was busy. So, I lost track of Geoff till 2017. Found Geoff by looking for fellow CPHS grads & in search of the 2018 reunion.
The last time I talked to Geoff was when he had was being treated for cancer. I was sad beyond expression & begged him to try the health supplements which spared me death or side effects in beating testicular cancer in 1990. I miss Geoff.
[[ NOTE I also beat skin cancer in 2018]]. If any of my other CPHS comrades need to beat cancer? ...ask me what I used to beat cancer 2x. I'll be happy to email it to you. Call me by going to google maps and asking for DJ Jeff Oliver. OR, by email, djJeff@djJeff.com

One of my best friends. We ran cross country and track, played friendly matches of tennis, and had a few beers, We became closer friends after Clayton’s death. I made a point to reach out, and he was so grateful. Strange how some will shun someone as if not knowing what to say. He opened up to me about that tragedy. He invited me to a party our first year at DVC and I was appointed an “honorary member of the Strandwood gang”. I had gone to Valhalla. Many happy memories. I loved my friend Geoff. Or Geof. Never quite knew the right spelling. Miss you, friend. My last contact was not long before he passed. He said that he “missed the trees and hills and would love to come home”. Bye, dear friend.
