About Me	First thing I did was leave the farm. Since then I have been busy, worked at mental hospital in Fort Custer, continued to work for the state for ten years at which time I got my degree from Eastern Michigan University. Then I taught Specal Education; emotionally Impaired and Leaarning disabilities for 22 years. Retired at the age of 51, I had planned on retiring at the age of 50, but I missed it by a year. I decided to learn how to fly an airplane, things went well until I ran out of fuel. The skies are much safer since I stopped flying. My wife refused to get in a plane with me after that incident. Life goes on , after retiring I decided to do what I wanted to do since I was 5 years old, drive the biggest truck on the road, I came close, my truck had 42 wheels and carried 110,000 pounds of cement. Gave that up after catching on fire two times. Life has been good for me except for the time I spent in High School. Not the school's or the kids fault, just had to pick myself up by my bootstraps. I might be the only alumnus that has been run over by a truck and survived. Didn't miss a days work, I don't think I want to repeat that incident.
