Charles Harley Skutt, Jr., 45, and Janean Alison (Grigg) Skutt, 45, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Branch County. Charles was born Sept. 16, 1964 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Charles and Linda (Marowelli) Skutt, Sr. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1983 and drove a truck for food service. He was also a part-time volunteer for the Coldwater Fire Department and an avid Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. He was mechanically talented and loved fixing and repairing things. Janean was born May 21, 1965 in Kalamazoo to Frederick and Allie (Vanhoose) Grigg. Also a 1983 graduate of Coldwater High School, she furthered her training in early childhood education. Janean was employed as a teaching assistant at the Branch County ISD and loved working with children. She also enjoyed her hobby of scrap-booking. Charles and Janean were married Aug. 11, 1984.
