We will have a board meeting of the Colcord High School Alumni Association on Saturday Jan. 22nd at 10AM at the Talbot Library, all board members and any one who would help us as a board member or in any other way are encouraged to attend, we have several issues to discuses, the upcoming banquet, scholarships and also maybe amending some of the bylaws. Please invite any Colcord Alum that you know, we could always use help. Serving on the board is not very time consuming at all, maybe 3 or 4 meetings a year, and helping with the annual banquet. We look forward to seeing you there. Call for any information or suggestions.

School Bond Coming Up
I, Jeremy Shelley, am backing this bond 100%. This bond will be paid with property taxes and we were Oh, so close to passing this the last time. After recently being laid off from Franklin Electric after 14 years, I am willing to pay my share to help out a community that I am proud of. Let's face it, sometimes there is not much to be proud of here. Let us fix some of that. Let's build something we can all be proud of. I have heard something over the last few years. If you look good , you feel good, If you feel good ,you play good. If we have a new gym it will bring things to the table that Colcord may have never seen before. Let's go vote YES on August 24th. I believe this is the first thing , other than the Lord and my family, I have ever endorsed. I am proud to be doing it.
If you are registered in the school district get there and vote with us. Are you proud enough of your hometown to help it out or will you watch it whither away? Imagine what it will feel like knowing you did contribute to creating something very special.

Colcord High School Annual Banquet
Saturday April 3rd and will be held at the lunch room at Colcord, the cost is around $10 a person, this includes the meal.
We would love to have as many as possible to attend, so come and enjoy the fellowship of fellow Colcord Alumni. We usually start with visitation starting at 4pm and the meal and meeting starting some where between 5 and 6 PM.
Read and submit stories about our classmates from Colcord High School, post achievements and news about our alumni, and post photos of our fellow Hornets.
