About Me | I want to help people have a balanced and full life. I want their health, wealth, relationships, spiritual, charitable and personal hobbies/passions all to be firing on equal levels to get the most out of this time on Earth. I wrote my first business plan at age 10 in order to secure a cash investor for my 4-H pig business and successfully paid the investor over 200% APR within 6 months. I started a successful full service lawn and garden business at only 12 years old and after securing my first few customers through a small classified ad in the free weekly paper, I enjoyed repeat business for years based solely on referral marketing. My slogan on my business cards was Responsible Labor for Responsible Wages. In order to operate my business I was illegally driving at 12 years old and bought my first car with cash from my business at 14, when we (in Idaho back then) could drive legally. I was asked to be an Ambassador to seven countries in Europe under President Reagan in 1986 when I was only 16 years old. I had to study at Eastern Washington University and George Washington University for a year at age 15, learning the individual policies and beliefs of each country and being taught how to speak with a translator. I accepted a full-ride scholarship to the University of Colorado to play football and study International Business and Marketing. We won the Big Eight Division and were ranked number one in the country with an 11-0 record, but lost the National Championship game to Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl. The next year we played Notre Dame again for the National Championship in the Orange Bowl and won to be the number one team in the country. I was honored with the Theophilus Gregory award for Academic and Athletic Excellence and was an Academic All-American as well. I splintered my femur playing football and could not play in the NFL. I became the first and still only person in NCAA history to get my full-ride scholarship transferred to another school and studied International Business at the University of Copenhagen for a year in Denmark. While studying in Denmark I released 123 lbs in 5.5 months while using Herbalife and was asked to help open several countries in Europe for the multi-billion dollar health and nutrition company. I gave up my full ride scholarship and used my skills of speaking with translators I had learned as an Ambassador to my advantage. I recruited, trained and managed collectively thousands of distributors from several (9) countries around the world. I received my full-ride scholarship back from the University of Colorado and earned my degree in Business Administration, with a double major in International Business and Marketing. I moved to San Diego, California and learned all about the home based business opportunity via the infomercial and seminar business. I was broadsided by a van (who failed to yield the right away) while riding to work on a motorcycle and crushed my legs and shoulder and was told they were going to have to probably amputate my left leg at the knee. I defied the doctors and ended up saving my legs and before long was helping Private companies raise capital for their businesses through private placement offerings. I have raised capital for 17 years from investors all over the world, mostly over the phone, but in person one on one and 100's of millions from the platform at high cost investor conferences. I parlayed my knowledge of successfully building businesses to become a bottom line consultant, earning a percentage of increases I would bring to the companies’ bottom lines above and beyond their normal projected growth rates. I was in charge of bottom line profits for whole divisions of Mattel’s Direct Marketed Collectibles for Barbie and Hot Wheels, and Microsoft’s Direct Marketed WebTV Division. I was also hired to increase profits for United Airlines, Coors, R.J. Reynolds, Adidas, Southwest Airlines, El Pollo Loco, NBC, Fox, F/X Channel, Toto, Fleetwood, Disney and Honda to name a few. I decided to invest my money into life saving/enhancing drug treatments and technologies that will either save lives directly or make life easier and pain free. He founded an investment group for the affluent and currently has thousands of millionaires in his group leveraging their knowledge, contacts, experience and buying power to reduce risks and increase profits consistently while helping to make the world to be a better place. Rick is constantly on the lookout for new investments and companies that he can help get the funding and management teams they need to further their businesses and technologies. He is also looking for opportunities for his non-millionaire friends so that they can gain the financial freedom that they desire for themselves and their families. I am always looking for new clients as well as people who are look...(read more) |
