Jon is survived by his children Jennifer Danley, Shawn Bucher, and Scott Bucher, as well as 8 grandchild. He also has a brother, Darryl Bucher.

I served with Jon in the Army, he was my platoon leader. The men in his platoon really respected him.
He was also a good friend outside of the Army. After we both retired, fate had it that he moved only 4 houses down from mine in Post Falls. You will be missed Sarge.
