About Me	I went straight to college after high school. As a junior I transfered to Brigham Young University and received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. I then served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, mostly in France. Upon returning I did one year of graduate work and got a teacher's certification in Art and English. I married my husband of 43 years in the summer of 1965. We lived in California for 8 years, then overseas (Indonesia and United Arab Emirates) for 7, then to Billings,Montana before moving to Arizona in 1985. I received by Master's degree from Arizona State University in 1989 ( I am proud that I had a 4.0 with 54 graduate level classes to get it). I put in many hours and was totally driven. I wasn't nearly that focused on my under grad work. I was going to school with some my children. I had to promise to ignore them if I ran into them on campus. Fortunately, ASU has a huge campus. Actually, after a bit,they didn't mind at all. In fact, they were proud of me. After, I worked in the inner city (Phoenix) teaching high school until my retirement a little over a year ago.
