About Me	David and me....... fighing EVIL together. On September 12,2008 my then 16 year old son David was diagnosed with a form of bone marrow cancer...MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) with Trisomy 8 chromosome damage.. He needed a life threatening bone marrow transplant. No donor match was found and his doctors decided to use me even though I was only a half match. I went for my yearly mammogram and on November 14th, 2008 I found out that I had breast cancer. I could no longer be David's donor and had to have surgery and begin treatment right away. By the grace of God a 9 out of 10 match was found for David in December. I named his cells EARL the night of the transplant (2-20-09) but a year later we were put in contact with David's HERO. His name is Ben Walker of Tampa. I am cancer free as David continues to fight EVIL. Some of his disease came back in October of 2009. he will be having his 8th round of chemo beginning this Monday, 10-11-10 followed by an infusion of EARL...(read more)
