After high school traveled to L.A. Met future first husband and moved to the north shore of Kauai. Lived the dream. Moved(long story) to Telluride,CO in the early 90's. Enjoyed that ski area for a few years before moving up to Crested Butte. All was well until '97, when I turned 40, hubby had the text book "midlife" and left me, and my beloved father passed. Took a few years to recover. Have been together with second hubby for almost 20. We're in Gunnison now ( just down the mountain). He's a supervisor at the local golf course, so we're out there alot. I'm currently on disability; need new knees! Over the years I've made a living in property management, child care ( killer nanny jobs!), and landscaping. My surfing and skiing days are over (sorry knees); but there's so much more to have fun with in the mountains.
