| About Me | I retired from Elementary school teaching in 2018 when we moved to Ohio to be closer to our son, his wife and grandchildren. Our daughter moved with us, so we are all living close to one another. Unfortunately, my husband went home to the Lord in July 2020. I am happy in Ohio and plan on staying here. In the last 20 years, I've become a writer. I have published a number of short stories; two have been in Chicken Soup for the Soul books, My first book of devotional/short stories came out in 2018. It's called "Fairytales Redeemed." I have a novel written but not published yet and am half way through another book of short stories all based on Jeremiah 29:11. I recently joined the Mountain Dulcimer Society of Dayton and am (slowly) learning to play the dulcimer. I love to garden. My other joy comes in "treasure hunting" in local thrift/antique stores.
