| Favorite School Memory | Friends, cheerleading, the football and basket ball games, all the typical high school experiences and especially how nice every one was to me as an "Army Brat" coming to CP in my sophomore year. From my first day at CP so many people were friendly and welcomed me to join activities and and developed long-term friendships. | About Me | Attended college, fell in love and got married in 1965, had two daughters, lived in Oregon for a few years where my husband taught Jr. High and owned a construction company to supplement the teacher's salary ($300 take home - he made almost that same amount working part-time while we were in college!). I worked for Shell Chemical Co. Moved back to Lakewood when our first daughter was born (realized $300 a month was not going to go very far when we lost my income) and my husband joined our family real estate company. When the girls started school, I joined him in the business (for a year he said - just to help out and I am still there....but now I work more from home and only go in when something comes up now).
