About Me	Pursued post-secondary education at Washington State University (B.A. & M.A.) & University of Wisconsin (Ph.D). Have been teaching at Winona State University (Winona, MN) since 1993. (Courses I typically teach include Leadership & Communication, Conflict Management, Small Group Dynamics, Interpersonal Communication, Gender Communication, Research Methods, & Public Speaking.) Took a 4-year leave of absence to teach in the United Arab Emirates (2000-2004j: Was able to do some traveling when I lived abroad, which was a wonderful experience. Became a certified massage therapist in 2007. I have a private massage practice, working out of my home. I continue to study topics of interest (e.g., leadership, energy healing, landscaping design, communication). I remain involved with the Girl Scouts, spending a week each summer directing the Program-Aide-In-Training program at Benton G.S. Day Camp in Corvallis, Oregon.
