About Me	I was married two weeks after graduating from high school and lived in Europe for three years. I went back to school a couple of times and have had two careers over the years. I became one of the first female paramedics to work in Pierce County and one of the handful in the state in the late 1970s through the early 1990s. I moved on to a career in emergency management, working for Pierce County, cities of Burien, SeaTac, Des Moines and Normandy Park, and finished with the state emergency management at Camp Murray. I never had kids, too busy working and going to school. I am now retired and lived in the home I bought 45 years ago, the same house Lew Hammock lived in when we were in high school.
