Joseph Lawrence (Larry) Tebor

Commissioned as 2nd Lt, US Army Military Intelligence Branch upon graduation from Western Michigan University ROTC on 04/18/65. Retired 04/30/91 with the rank of Major. I have the distinction of being the only person in the entire military who did what I did during the last year of the Vietnam War. As the Intelligence Liaison Officer of the 244th PSYOP Detachment, 7th PSYOP Group, I was responsible for selecting the targets for every Vietnamese Language Strategic Leaflet dropped in North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. I provided 7th Air Force 60 targets every month. At least one mission was flown daily and every mission included an average of over 15,000,000 leaflets. During the 1st Gulf War, in my last assignment as Chief of the US Army Missile Command's Technical Support Office at Raytheon Company's Andover, MA plant, where the radar guidance systems for the Patriot and Hawk Missile systems were made, I had signature approval authority for three General Officers, at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, for everything regarding the Patriot and Hawk Missile Systems..

I very much enjoyed having dinner with Mickey Lolich of the Detroit Tigers the MVP of the 1968 World Series but an even better man.
