About Me	We just returned from 10 days in Estes Park, Colorado, and the beautiful, sweet wedding of Jenna Paul and Chuck Higgins. Jenna's 7 year old son, Luke, was a proud young man as he escorted his mom down the aisle. Born 1937 (yikes), in Elk City, Oklahoma. Moved to Clinton, Oklahoma in 1940 and spent a very happy time growing up there and attending schools and graduating from CHS in 1955. Went to Oklahoma University and became a Kappa Kappa Gamma, making my mom and aunts very happy. I was very involved in campus activities, including Tassels, Mortar Board, one of 10 outstanding freshman and senior women, University Choir and Quartet, Barbershop Quartet, Honorary AFROTC Wing Commander and candidate for Homecoming Queen. Married Homer Paul the end of my junior year and graduated from OU in 1959 with a degree in speech pathology. Homer received his JD in 1959 and we moved to Oklahoma City where he worked with Liberty National Bank, starting in their trust department. I was a speech pathologist, working at three OKC schools, until I was three months pregnant (OKC schools wouldn't allow women to work after three months at that time). Chip (Charles William Paul) was born July 28th, 1960, followed by Lela Carol Paul on September 17th, 1963. We had a big surprise on February 12th, 1970, when Jamie Helen Paul and Jennifer Jean Paul were born. We had no idea I was carrying twins! We moved from 1601 Brighton in OKC to 2905 Arrowhead Drive in Edmond. Chip went to Casady for ninth and tenth grades and graduated from McGuinness and the girls all graduated from Ed...(read more)
