CROMMELIN, Robert G., 65, husband of Nancy (March), on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Born in Passaic, Mr. Crommelin resided in Pompton Lakes for 30 years coming from Clifton.
He had served in the US ARMY during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971 and had earned the following medals, one Silver Star and two Bronze Stars. He was in 1st Battalion, 20th Infantry, 11th Brigade, Americal Division.
Along with his wife, he is survived by one brother, Roger (and wife, Irena) of Dingmanns Ferry, PA, one niece, Laura, two nephews, Thomas and Michael, one cousin, Ruth Richard (and husband, James) and many extended family members.
Visitation Thursday, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Richards Funeral Home, Inc., 4 Newark Pompton Tpk, Riverdale, NJ. Graveside Service, Friday 11 AM at Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Lakes. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors, PO Box 149, Lodi, NJ 07644 would be appreciated.
