Gary "Cue Ball" G. Polyak Obituary

Gary "Cue Ball" G. Polyak, age 64, of Forked River, Lacey, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Born in Clifton, NJ, he graduated from Clifton High School in 1964 and attended Fairmount College in West Virginia. Gary worked for MEC Technology, Inc, Toms River for the past seventeen years. Over the past thirty years Gary's main interest was fishing with his many dear friends, brother and son-in-law.

Gary will be remembered as the loving husband for 37 years to Winifred Polyak, and an awesome dad to his daughter Lisa C. Smentkowski and her husband James, and grandfather to Frank of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by his brothers Jeffrey of Forked River and Gregory of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and his mother -in-law, Helen Van Wyck whom he took such good care of for the past five years.

A visitation will be Tuesday July 5, 2011, from 2-4 at the Layton's Home For Funerals, 250 Lacey Road., Forked River, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to Save Barnegat Bay, 906-B Grand Central Avenue., Lavallette, NJ 08735 would be appreciated.
