About Me	I am an imperfect mom of three beautiful, fiercely independent (and yet - imperfect) young adults - surrounded by a host of zombie-perfect Woodlands moms. Sigh... just trying to survive! My husband lives for his career... and I have always lived for my kids -- but here we are, in our late forties, him completely locked into work, and me... well, my children are pretty much all grown up and they are living their own lives now... just as they should be. (I keep telling myself that). So, I guess I need a new purpose. I think about that often and want to make some changes, but, frankly... I don't like to work. (I can't stand taking orders from anyone... yes, I'll admit that my daddy raised a spoiled girl). So, basically, I am up for ideas. What do middle aged women do if they are not interested in a pool boy? I am thinking about taking cooking classes! (My husband will be so excited if I can learn how to make tamales or... well, anything that isn't what I normally cook, i.e., broiled chicken or fish, salad, Brussels sprouts). Sigh... like I said, I live for my kids. My eldest, Rae Michele, is a mom of one little, adorable boy: Ethan. He is an absolute joy! Rae is artistic and emotional and well, pretty great. She works hard and supports herself and pays her own way. I am extremely proud of her. She is engaged to a great guy. She is very happy. I am really proud of her. My middle child, Rachel, is a contemporary dancer, a dance teacher, and director for a dance company. 5'11" tall, striking girl. She is always so busy. She is dance teacher/choreographer at Stacey's Dance in Kingwood where she now lives with her fiancée Adam. She is strong willed, confident, and bright... a high-maintenance girl. Trey, my baby, sigh... is fiercely independent... damn him... and he is strong-willed... reminds me a lot of myself when I was young. He can be so obstinate and self-centered but then, every now and again, he'll show me a little bit of himself that makes me realize that he will be all right. He is a gifted athlete and dancer, is quick to smile, loves his friends, and doesn’t give a damn about people that aren't... He is a student at UTI where he is studying diesel mechanics and he works at Tom Peacock Cadillac. Makes me sad... I wish he was still dancing. He is trying to be responsible though... he knows he has to support his daughter - which brings me to Chloe. She is almost three... a complete handful... and the joy of Roberts' and my life. She is our "Re-Do". She is stubborn, inquisitive, always full of joy......(read more)
