About Me	I wonder if there is enough space. Right after college, I went right into radio broadcasting as an operations manager. I spent ten years in the industry. I then was thrusted into my business. I make it possible for people with disabilities to succeed in school and the workforce. I'm an assistive technology specialist on NYS contract with the NYS Education Dept. i provide teaching and consulting services to VESID consumers who are disabled. I fit them with special technology that allows them to access computers and all forms of information. I cover Western, Central, and Northern New York State. I am still legally blind in both eyes. I'm totally blind in one eye and I have partial vision in the other. I've been this way since birth. One of my hobbies is riding bikes. In 2005, I became the first legally blind bicyclist in "Tour de Cure." I completed a 40 mile course by myself to raise money and awareness for diabetes. I received national recognition for this ride. In 1994/95, I released my first product in the assistive technology field. I was the first to create a voice input/output interface for the person computer working in MS DOS and Windows. This allowed people who were blind, visually impaired or learning disabled the ability to use a personal computer without the need of a computer keyboard and monitor. It allowed people to talk to their computer and the computer would echo back what it thought it heard for confirmation. This accomplishment received national recognition.
