About Me	I love the LORD JESUS and HE has totally changed my life. I am a new creation. My dream is to own a small farm w/a few animals, yes even @ my age!!! I am obsessed w/ a book about self-sufficiency, living off the land kinda thing. That is the life for me!!! For the time being, I still love the simple life, taking care of my family including my 2 dogs Seth ( a husky/shepherd mix) OB (a black lab aka Oliver Bowser), my 2 rabbits Smoke Rings & Ebony & my cat Lydia plus 2 tropical fish tanks. I have a lot of pain days due to a neurological disorder RSD aka CRPS in my right hand. The kids Madisyn (01/05) Mykayla (01/08) & Baby David (06/09) keep me busy & amused on a daily basis. I love to listen to my hubby play his guitar whether playing worship or classic rock. I am blessed when I get a chance to get out to Camden on Saturdays w/ NCM street ministry, but w/the kids & Madisyn's ballet on Saturdays it isn't as often as it used to be.I love being married & Donna Reed is my role model. Yes, I am that "old school". I love any Audrey Hepburn movie, I think she was so beautiful & classy. My favorite show (besides General Hospital) is the Waltons & I miss the old shows like Donna Reed, etc but thank the LORD for being able to watch Gidget!! another fav. My favorite season is summer where you'll find me outside floating in the pool. We eat almost every meal outside in the screened gazebo. My hubby is becoming quite the grill master!! We go to Sea Isle every year the week after Labor Day. As soon as we walk thru the door we feel like we're home again, even the dogs know. But it is a bitter sweet time,depending on the weather, Bob closes the pool either right b4 we go or right after we come home. I am grateful to still have my parents living, even if it is in NC. I miss Bob's mom, she was just like my own. I also miss my 2 hubby's Leon & John. Widowed 2x in a year. I lost Leon 12/28/02 & a yr, 3 days later on 01/01/2004 I lost John. I can;t believe how much time has passed, I still cry & think about them on a daily basis. If it wasn't for the love, mercy, grace & comfort of my Savior Jesus Christ, I would be in the loony bin!! I have had a life filled w/hurt & loss so it's hard to let anyone in too close but the love of Jesus & the brethren of NCM are healing me . The LORD promises in Jeremiah 29:11 to give me a future and a hope & I claim that on a daily basis as well. My hibbies are cooking/baking antiquing gardeing & watching old movies. I also love to entertain, trying out new recipes for just the perfect meal to serve!! I am blessed. May t...(read more)
