Mrs. Karen Pennell retirement/letters requested from former students
I am the one of the current room mothers for Ms. Karen Pennell’s class (Pleasant Valley 5th grade). After 37 years of teaching in the Harrison Township school district, Ms. Pennell has submitted her retirement papers and will be relaxing on the beach this September instead of welcoming another class. We would like to present her with a special personal gift on the last day of school and need the help of as many former students as possible. If you ever had Ms. Pennell, please consider writing her a note of thanks and/or congratulations. All of the letters will be collected and placed in a scrapbook for her to read on that beach in September and for many years to come. All letters can be either emailed to me at dopie70@yahoo.com or mailed to 117 Karen Ct. Mullica Hill. Please include your full name and the years you had Ms. Pennell as a teacher, maybe even a picture of you then and now, let her know what you are up do and how she may have impacted your life. Please pass this email on to anyone you know who may also have had Ms. Pennell as a teacher.
