A pay-your-own way kick off will be held at PEGGS downtown Friday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 pm.
The picnic is Saturday at Castle Manor. Class of 85 Reunion picnic at Castle Manor in Merrifield Park from 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. You don’t have to stay that long if you don’t want to! We just want to give people the opportunity to hang out and reconnect with no time constraints. There is an indoor area in case of inclement weather. Kids are welcome.
Dinner will be served at 5:00. We’re having burgers or grilled chicken breasts, baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw.
The cost is $30 per person or $50 for a couple. We have made arrangements for paying online to make life easier — though there is a small convenience fee. The url is: https://tinyurl.com/2kkuvxax
If you’d rather come without ordering a dinner, that’s fine. Just mark your preference on the RSVP and let us know. A donation to the event would be welcome though. The cost also goes to cover the venue, rental fees, paper goods, and other miscellaneous items as well.
We are not planning on providing alcoholic beverages at this time so bring whatever you’d like to have. Alcohol is permitted. There’s a great porch facing the river, a picnic shelter, and lots of outdoor park space so feel free to bring a chair for relaxing. Cornhole or other outdoor games are welcome too.

Washington Clay/Clay High School will be having an all-class reunion for classes from 1942-1985 on Friday, August 5th from 5:00 – 9:00. It will be at the Studebaker Museum, 201 S. Chapin Street in South Bend, IN. Chuck Francour (former lead singer of the Cambridge Five) will be providing the music. Appetizers will be provided. There will be a cash bar. The cost is $10, payable at the door. Please RSVP to clayallclass@gmail.com by July 20th if you plan on attending. Be sure to pass the information along to former classmates and friends.
